9th Eagles for Echols Golf Tournament:
Saturday, August 24, 2024
Bradley Wade Echols lost his short battle with cancer in April 2013, at the age of 36, leaving behind a wife and two children. In keeping with his spirit, we celebrate the life of Brad and the great legacy he left behind. We are so proud to have this golf tournament as a celebration of his life, but more importantly, as a legacy in his honor that will hopefully impact the world in a profoundly positive way. Brad, through competition, always found a way to connect with others. Rarely did he participate in anything without making it a competition. Whether it be horse shoes on the beach, random golf weekends, a decathlon to determine room assignments in college or anything else that could be determined by a winner and a loser, he embraced competition as a means of building and fostering deep and nurturing relationships – ones that lasted lifetimes and beyond.
We should all hope to leave a legacy like the one Brad has left behind. Investing, helping and believing in others are principles we can all learn from reflecting on the way Brad lived his life.
The 2024 Eagles for Echols night golf tournament is set to take place at Grayson Valley Country Club on Saturday, August 24th.
